Gaithersburg Crime: Aggravated Assault at Bohrer Park and More

The following information was supplied by the Montgomery County Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Montgomery County police released a crime summary for June 4 through June 12. The following incidents were reported in Gaithersburg:

An aggravated assault occurred at Bohrer Park, 506 South Frederick Avenue, between 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 9 and 1 a.m. Sunday, June 10. The victim was assaulted by the suspect who was armed with a weapon.

An armed robbery occurred in the 400 block of Christopher Avenue on Sunday, June 10 shortly after 1 a.m. The suspects threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.

A strong arm robbery occurred in the 19400 block of Brassie Place on Tuesday, June 5 shortly before 10 p.m. The suspect assaulted the victim and then obtained property.

A residential burglary occurred in the unit block of Inkberry Circle between 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5 and 8 a.m. Wednesday, June 6. Entry was not forced and property was taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 20200 block of Maple Leaf Court in Gaithersburg on Wednesday, June 6 between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Entry to the home was forced and property was taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 9800 block of Mahogany Drive in Gaithersburg sometime between Monday, June 4 and Thursday, June 7. Entry to the home was not forced and property was taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 18800 block of Purple Martin Lane on Tuesday, June 5 between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. Entry to the home was not forced and property was taken.

A commercial burglary occurred in the 300 block of South Frederick Avenue between Wednesday, June 6 and Friday, June 8. Entry was forced and property was taken.

An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 18900 block of Glendower Road on Monday, June 11 between midnight and 6 a.m. No property was taken from the home.

A theft occurred at a construction site located in the 200 block of Orchard Ridge Drive in Gaithersburg between Monday, May 28 and Tuesday, June 5. Entry to the site was not forced and property was taken.
