Gaithersburg Crime: 6 Residential, 2 Commercial Burglaries and More

Montgomery County police released a crime summary for June 17-25. The following incidents were reported in Gaithersburg.

• A strong-arm robbery occurred in the 100 block of East Diamond Avenue on Tuesday, June 18, around 10:10 p.m. The suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property.
• A commercial burglary occurred at Polla Ala Vista, located at 16905 Oakmont Avenue on Tuesday, June 18, between 8 a.m. and Wednesday, June 19, at 6 a.m. Entry to the business was forced and property was taken.
• A residential burglary occurred in the 100 block of Hutton Street between Wednesday, June 19, at 12 p.m. and Thursday, June 20, at 7:30 a.m. The suspects are known to the victim.
• A residential burglary occurred in the 9700 block of Breckenridge Place in Montgomery Village between Wednesday, June 19, at 11 p.m. and Thursday, June 20, at 6 a.m. Entry to the home was forced and property was taken.
• A robbery occurred in the 700 block of Quince Orchard Road on Friday, June 21, at around 10:30 a.m. The suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property.
• A residential burglary occurred in the 100 block of Duvall Lane on Friday, June 21, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Entry to the home was not forced and property was taken.
• A residential burglary occurred in the 12300 block of Morning Light Terrace between Friday, June 21, at 4 p.m. and Sunday, June 23, at 12:52 p.m. Entry to the home was forced and property was taken.
• A residential burglary occurred in the 18900 block of Whetstone Circle in Montgomery Village on Sunday, June 23, between 9:15 a.m. and 9:40 a.m. Entry to the home was forced and property was taken.
• A residential burglary occurred in the 9500 block of Whetstone Drive in Montgomery Village on Sunday, June 23, between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Entry to the home was forced and property was taken.
• An attempted strong-arm robbery occurred at the Dollar Tree, located in the 19200 block of Montgomery Village Avenue in Montgomery Village on Sunday, June 23, around 10 a.m. The suspect threatened the victim and unsuccessfully attempted to remove property.
• An aggravated assault occurred at the intersection of Quince Orchard Road and Darnestown Road on Monday, June 24, around 3:30 a.m. Click here for more information.
