Gaithersburg Crime: Clopper Road Armed Robbery, 3 Residential Burglaries and More

The following information was provided by the Montgomery County Police Department. Arrests or charges do not indicate a conviction.

Montgomery County police released a crime summary for March 18 through March 26. The following incidents were reported in Gaithersburg:

  • A sexual assault occurred in the 9900 block of Ridgeline Drive on Monday, March 18, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The suspect is known to the victim.
  • A theft occurred at the Grey Goose Farm nursery, located at 5317 Brookeville Road, between 5 p.m. on Monday, March 18, and 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20.
  • A residential burglary occurred in the 100 block of Duvall Lane on Tuesday, March 19, between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Entry to the home was not forced and property was taken.
  • A residential burglary occurred in the 9700 block of Hellingly Place on Wednesday, March 20, between 6 p.m. and 6:10 p.m. Entry to the home is unknown and property was taken.
  • An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 200 block of Cedar Avenue on Wednesday, March 20, between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. There was an attempted forced entry to the home and nothing was taken.
  • An armed robbery occurred in the 900 block of Clopper Road on Thursday, March 21, between 11 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. The suspects assaulted the victims and obtained property.
  • A residential burglary occurred in the 12800 block of Talley Lane on Thursday, March 21, between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Entry to the home was not forced and property was taken.
