Montgomery County police released a crime summary on Thursday for April 30 through May 8. The following incidents were reported in Gaithersburg:
A residential burglary occurred at 12:32 p.m. May 7 in the 9800 block of Mahogany Drive. Entry to the home was not forced and nothing was taken.
Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred on May 1 and 6 on Booth Street, McDonald Chapel Court and Thurgood Street. None of the vehicles showed signs of forced entry and a set of golf clubs, a GPS unit and CDs were among the stolen property.
A residential burglary occurred at 5:19 p.m. May 7 in the 100 block of Starboard Court. No additional information is available.
An attempted burglary occurred at about 5:30 a.m. May 3 in the unit block of Tidal Springs Court. Entry to the units was forced but nothing was taken. Police have descriptions of four males between the ages of 15 and 25: one wearing a black hat, one wearing a gray hoodie and a gray backpack, one wearing blue coveralls and one wearing a black hoodie.
Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred on May 3 and 4 on Boxberry Terrace and Streamside Drive. Entry to the vehicles was forced and iPods and GPS units were taken.
Graffiti was found May 8 at Quince Orchard High School, 15800 Quince Orchard Road.
