Gaithersburg Man Charged in Sex Assault in Ocean City
A 25-year-old man was charged with sex offense, sodomy and assault.
A night of drinking in Ocean City, MD, has led to claims of sexual assault and charges against a Gaithersburg man, Ocean City police said in a news release Wednesday.
Luis M. Calderon, 25, was charged with sex offense, sodomy and assault, Ocean City police said.
On June 7, Calderon, the alleged victim and a group of friends were drinking at their rented condo and became intoxicated, according to police. The alleged victim claims that she went to sleep in one of the rooms and was sexually assaulted.

An arrest warrant for Calderon was served Aug. 11, police said.
He was released after posting $25,000 bond, according to court records accessed online.
