Gaithersburg Police Release Composite Image of Stabbing Suspect

Police seek help from the public identifying a man in connection to a stabbing in the 100 block of Gold Kettle Drive on Wednesday, June 6.

Gaithersburg police released a composite image of the man at approximately 7:25 a.m. on Wednesday, June 6.

The victim was in her car preparing to leave her home when she was approached by the suspect, who demanded property.

In the ensuing struggle, the victim was stabbed six times, according to a report by NBC Washington.

The suspect fled the scene on a bicycle and is described as a Hispanic male, age 35-37, between 5 feet and 5 feet 1 inch tall, according to police. He has a thin build with short black hair and was last seen wearning a blue shirt and black pants.
