Gaithersburg Woman Caught Stealing More Than $1,600 In Merchandise From Department Store

Kristin Ashley Delmar, 24, is charged with theft at Boscov's department store in Frederick, The Frederick News Post reports.

A Gaithersburg woman faces charges of theft between $1,000 and $10,000 for allegedly shoplifting from a Frederick department store last week, The Frederick News-Post reports.

Police said Kristin Ashley Delmar, 24, of the first block of Hilton Court, stole more than $1,600 worth of merchandise from Boscov's deparment store, according to the report.

Store employees stopped Delmar in the parking lot as she was trying to leave. She allegedly was found to have 6 rings, 26 necklaces, 17 watches, 5 pairs of earrings and 9 pieces of clothing in her purse, according to the report.

Delmar was released from the Frederick County Adult Detention Center after posting $5,000 bail.
