Graffiti At Robertson Park Not Gang-Related

It was made by a bunch of young men, police said.

Over the holiday weekend, the rear doors of and a city-owned van were tagged with graffiti.

Public works crews moved fast to mostly remove the paint, but remnants were still visible early last week.

In letters about two feet high were painted the words "Reck" and "Reckless Boys."

Officer Dan Lane, a spokesman for Gaithersburg Police, said the tagging was not gang-related.

"It not a gang," he said. "It's just a group of young males, we believe, acting out. It's not a gang or anything of that nature."
