Indecent Exposure, Peeping Tom and Assaults in this Week's Recent Crime Summary

A round up of some of the crimes reported in the County Police 6th District between 4/11 and 4/19.

P1 Beat:

  • A residential burglary occurred in the 800 block of West Side Drive, Gaithersburg on Thursday, 4/14 between 9 a.m. and 2:45 p.m.  Forced entry, property taken. 
  • Three incidents of thefts from vehicles occurred in the 200 and 300 blocks of Midsummer Circle, Gaithersburg on Thursday, 4/14 between 2:30 a.m. and 3:35 a.m.  All vehicles were entered without force.  A portable DVD player, loose change and an iPod were among the property stolen.
  • An attempted robbery occurred on Monday, 4/18 around 7:45 am at a 7-11 store, 9900 Key West Avenue, North Potomac.  An arrest was made.    

Arrested: Male, age 17, from North Potomac.

  • An aggravated assault occurred in the 300 block of Buttry Road, Gaithersburg on Sunday, 4/17 just after midnight.  The suspect assaulted the victim and displayed a weapon.  An arrest was made.

Arrested: Male, age 21.

  • A peeping Tom incident occurred in the 100 block of Timberbrook Lane, Gaithersburg on Monday, 4/18 around 9 p.m.   

Suspect: 1/M or 6/M dark skin, 20-30 years, 5’7”, 180, white baseball cap, dark hoody, plaid shorts, and white sneakers.

P2 Beat:

  • A garage burglary occurred in the 300 block of Alfandre Street, Gaithersburg between Saturday, 4/16 and Sunday, 4/17.  No forced entry, nothing taken.

 

R1 Beat:

  • No significant activity.

 

R2 Beat:

  • A residential burglary occurred in the 9300 block of Hickory View Place, Montgomery Village on Monday, 4/11 around 5 p.m.  Uknown entry, unknown what was taken. 

  • A residential burglary occurred in the 19100 block of Mills Choice Road, Montgomery Village on Friday, 4/15 between 9:30 a.m. and 8:10 p.m.  Forced entry, property taken.
  • Two thefts from vehicles occurred at Broadwater Drive and Broadwater Way, Montgomery Village between Thursday, 4/14 and Friday, 4/15.  Forced entry in each instance.  A wallet and cell phone were among items taken.

 

S1 Beat:

  • A residential burglary occurred in the unit block of Maplewood Court, Gaithersburg on Wednesday, 4/13 sometime after midnight.  Uknown entry, an arrest was made.

Arrested: Male, 25 years, no fixed address.

 

S2 Beat:

  • A residential burglary occurred in the 8200 block of Morning View Drive, Gaithersburg sometime between Sunday, 4/3 and Monday, 4/11.  Forced entry; nothing taken.
  • An indecent exposure incident occurred at Snouffer School Road and Woodfield Road, Gaithersburg on Tuesday, 4/12 around 11 a.m.  The suspect exposed himself to the adult female victim.

Suspect: W/M, 20’s, 5’8” to 6’0”, 150-180, short brown hair;

Vehicle: American model 4-door, black.
