Man Shot to Death in Gaithersburg; No Suspects In Custody
Police looking for two suspects
A man is dead after a shooting in the 400 block of North Summit Avenue in Gaithersburg.
Police said Thursday they are looking for two suspects.
The shooting was reported at around 2:30 p.m., according to several news accounts.

WJLA reports the victim was found sprawled out on the sidewalk in between a pair of vans at the Streamside Apartment complex.
Forrest Oak Middle School and Gaithersburg Elementary School were placed on lockdown, according to Montgomery County Public Schools. Gaithersburg Middle School and Washington Grove Elementary School were ordered to shelter in place.

The schools were cleared to dismiss at around 4:30 p.m., MCPS spokesman Dana Tofig said on Twitter.
