Montgomery County Police: Sex Assault, CVS Parking Lot Robbery Reported
The following incidents were supplied by Montgomery County police for Gaithersburg and its surrounding region. Arrests do not indicate convictions.
A residential burglary occurred in the unit block of Water Street on Thursday, Oct. 3, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.
A residential burglary occurred in the 400 block of West Diamond Avenue at 4:37 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8.
A commercial burglary occurred in the 9600 block of Medical Center Drive on at 6:15 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3.

Vehicle parts were taken in two vehicle-related thefts 10 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3 at 10 p.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5. Police said vehicles were broken into on Big Acre Square and County Court.
A sexual assault occurred at Ogie’s located at 293 Muddy Branch Road on Thursday, Oct. 3 at 11:50 p.m. The suspect inappropriately touched the victim and was arrested. Arrested: Male, 22, from Gaithersburg

An aggravated assault occurred at Quincy’s Bar and Grill located at 616 Quince Orchard Road on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 12:10 a.m. Police said the people involved knew each other.
A residential burglary occurred in the 800 block of Clopper Road on Monday, Oct. 7 between 12 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.
A commercial burglary occurred at Verizon Wireless located at 18320 Contour Road on Monday, Oct. 7 around 3:10 a.m. Forced entry; property taken.

An armed robbery occurred at the CVS located at 19100 Montgomery Village Avenue on Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 8:08 p.m. Arrested: Male, 52, from Gaithersburg
A strong-arm robbery occurred in front of Canton Delight at 18550 Woodfield Road on Thursday, Oct. 3 at 8:25 p.m. Police said the people involved knew each other.

An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 7800 block of Suthard Drive 3 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4 at Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.
A residential burglary occurred in the 7700 block of Suthard Drive, between 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1 and 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5. Forced entry; nothing taken.
An attempted residential burglary occurred in the hundred block of Brighton Drive between 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3 and noon Saturday, Oct. 5. Forced entry; property taken.
An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 200 block of Lee Street on Wednesday, Oct. 2 between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.
An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 100 block of Maple Road between 11 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3 and 10:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.
A commercial burglary occurred at Patton Electronics located at 7622 Rickenbacker Drive on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 4:19 a.m. Forced entry; property taken.
A generator, extension cords, a computer and cash were taken in four vehicle-related thefts on Beechcraft Avenue, Meadow Gate Terrace, Bell Grove Road and Kelso Terrace.
