Montgomery County Police: Sex Offense, Burglaries Reported in Gaithersburg

The following incidents were supplied by Montgomery County police for Gaithersburg. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Two residential burglaries were reported on Turnham Court in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, Sept. 24. Entry was forced in one event. No further information is available at this time.

A commercial burglary was reported in the unit block of Firstfield Road in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 9:35 p.m. Forced entry; nothing taken. Arrested: Male, 33, from Gaithersburg

A residential burglary was reported in the 800 block of Hope Road in Gaithersburg on Wednesday, Sept. 18 between 10 a.m. and 7:45 p.m. No forced entry; property taken.

An aggravated assault was reported in the 9800 block of Maple Leaf Drive in Gaithersburg on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 3:21 p.m. Police said the people involved knew each other.

An attempted residential burglary was reported in the 18900 block of Mills Choice Road in Montgomery Village on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 6:54 a.m.

A sex offense was reported at Big Lots located at 19142 Montgomery Village Avenue in Montgomery Village on Sunday, Sept. 22, between 2 and 3 p.m. The alleged victim was inappropriately touched.

An armed robbery was reported in the 18300 block of Streamside Drive in Gaithersburg on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 5 a.m. Police said the people involved knew each other. 

A residential burglary was reported in the 18000 block of Driftwood Court in Gaithersburg on Friday, Sept. 20 at 8:44 p.m. Unknown entry; nothing taken.

A residential burglary was reported in the unit block of North Summit Drive in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 4:37 p.m.

A residential burglary was reported in the 200 block of Park Avenue in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 10:04 a.m. No further details are available at this time. 

A residential burglary was reported in the 17200 block of Amity Drive in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 8:46 a.m.
