UPDATED: Betty Jean Queen Found Safe and Unharmed

Family is concerned for the Gaithersburg resident's well-being; haven't seen or heard from her since Dec. 28.

(Updated 7 p.m.) Montgomery County Police said Thursday that Betty Jean Queen, 68, was located safe and unharmed.

Police said her family was concerned because they hadn't heard form her since Dec. 28.

(Original) Montgomery County police are asking the public to help find a Gaithersburg woman last seen at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring on Dec. 29.

Police said Betty Jean Queen, 68, of the unit block of Orchard Road in Gaithersburg, hasn’t been in contact with family or her roommates since Dec. 28.

Police said that Queen is known to frequent the Wheaton and Silver Spring areas. She was described as a black female, 5-feet, 3-inches tall and weighing approximately 100 pounds.  Police said she had brown eyes and black and gray hair.  It is unknown what type of clothing she may be wearing.
