UPDATED: Police Investigating Possible Shots Fired In Gaithersburg Park

Montgomery County police and Park Police are on the scene.

Witnesses observed two vehicles that may have been involved in Tuesday's possible shooting at a Gaithersburg park, a Montgomery County police spokesperson said.

Witnesses also observed two subjects who may have been involved, but all of their involvement (as well as identity) is unknown at this point, Officer Janelle Smith said. There are no victims.

Montgomery County police and Maryland-National Capital Park Police are investigating a call for possible shots fired Tuesday afternoon in Gaithersburg, a county police spokesperson said.

Montgomery County police received a call at 2:51 p.m. for possible shots fired in Stewartown Park, at 19700 Goshen Road, said Officer Janelle Smith, a county police spokesperson.

It's unclear how many people may have been involved, Smith said.
