Police Officer Hurt Trying to Break Up Fight in Gaithersburg
A Montgomery County police officer was seriously injured while trying to stop a fight at a Gaithersburg house.
A Montgomery County police officer was seriously injured while responding to a fight at a home in Gaithersburg, according to WJZ TV.
Police were called to a house on Christopher Avenue about 11 p.m. Saturday. Police and fire officials say the officer was attacked when the officer tried to stop a fight.
The officer was seriously injured and was taken to a hospital. Another person involved in the fight was also taken to a hospital.
