Police Seek Public's Help Identifying Gaithersburg CVS Robbery Suspect

The CVS located at 546 N. Frederick Avenue was robbed on Nov. 27.

Montgomery County police released a photo Thursday afternoon of the suspect in a CVS armed robbery, with hopes that the public can help identify him.

The CVS located at 546 N. Frederick Avenue was robbed on Nov. 27, at approximately 8:08 p.m., police said.

Investigation revealed that the suspect entered the CVS store and approached the pharmacy counter, police said. The suspect handed a note to the pharmacist demanding Oxycodone pills. When the pharmacist hesitated in getting the pills, the suspect fled from the store without obtaining any property.

Police said the suspect is described as a white male, 20 to 30 years old, 6 feet 1 inch to 6 feet 5 inches tall, and weighing 160 to 180 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans, a blue, beige, and white colored jacket with a hood, and a wool winter hat.

Detectives are asking that anyone who may have information about this robbery or the suspect involved to contact the Robbery Section at 240-773-5100. Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477) or leave a Crime Solvers tip. Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest and/or indictment for this felony crime.
