Recent Crime Summary: Peeping Tom, Sex Assault and Several Burglaries

P1 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 100 block of George St. in Gaithersburg on Wednesday 6/15, between 6:00 a.m. and 5:05 p.m.  Forced entry, property taken. 

• A commercial burglary occurred at 9607 Medical Center Drive in Rockville sometime over a 7-day period, from Wednesday 6/14 to on Wednesday 6/21.  Property taken from outdoors. 

P2 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 100 block of Ridgepoint Place in Gaithersburg between 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday 6/14, and 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday 6/15.  Property was taken from an open garage.

• A vehicle theft occurred in the hundred block of Cornerwood Court in Gaithersburg on Friday 6/17 around 11:30 a.m.  Entry was made via an unlocked door.

R1 Beat:

• An aggravated assault occurred in the 18200 block of Contour Rd. in Montgomery Village on Saturday 6/18 around 8:30 p.m. Two victims were hit by BB gun pellets.

Defendant: Juvenile Male from Montgomery Village

• An attempted commercial burglary occurred at 18500 Office Park Drive in Montgomery Village between 8:00 p.m. on Monday 6/20 and 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday 6/21.  Attempted forced entry, nothing taken.

• An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 9400 block of Collette Way in Montgomery Village on Tuesday 6/14 between 6:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.  Attempted forced entry, nothing taken. 

• A peeping tom incident occurred in the 19000 block of Quail Valley Boulevard in Gaithersburg on Saturday 6/18 around 11:00 p.m.  The suspect was observed peering in a window.

Suspect: W/M 17-20 years, tan khaki shorts, no shirt

• A sex offense occurred at the Silver Diner, 7 Russell Ave in Gaithersburg on Monday 6/20 around 10:30 p.m. The victim was inappropriately touched by the suspect.

R2 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 9900 block of Forest View Place in Montgomery Village between 6:30 p.m. on Friday 6/17, and 2:45 p.m. on Saturday 6/18.  Forced entry, nothing taken.

• An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 19500 block of Burlingame Way in Montgomery Village on Monday 6/20 between 2:30 and 6:30 a.m.  Attempted forced entry, nothing taken.

S1 Beat:

• An aggravated assault occurred in the hundred block of McCausland Place in Gaithersburg on Saturday 6/18 at 1:59 p.m. Three suspects assaulted two victims then fled.

S2 Beat:

• A theft from vehicle occurred in the 7900 block of Queenair Drive in Gaithersburg between 3:30 p.m. on Friday 6/17 and 1:20 a.m. on Saturday 6/18.  Forced entry, property taken.
