Report: Gaithersburg Vocal Coach Faces Charges Of Sexually Abusing Student

A Gaithersburg vocal coach faces charges of sexual abuse against a former student, according to a report by The Gazette.
Timothy M. Ballard, 47, of Goodport Lane in Gaithersburg, is alleged to have sexually abused a then-eighth grade boy during the spring and summer of 2008 in his former home on Ramsdell Terrace, according to the report.
The victim came forward in June 2012 to report Ballard to police, according to the report. Ballard's attorney said he's innocent and will face the charges in trial.
