ORIGINAL STORY: An alleged armed robbery of an adult toy store in Rockville on Saturday night has led police to the man they believe was behind a pair of robberies last month in the Kentlands.

Ramon Michael Gunn, 25, of the 11400 block of Rockville Pike, was under police surveillance on Saturday night when he allegedly robbed Night Dreams—an adult store on Rockville Pike—at around 10:45pm. Gunn brandished what appeared to be a handgun and demanded cash, according to Montgomery County police. Gunn was arrested as he walked back to his car, where police found cash, a black pellet gun and a black mask.

Police say Gunn subsequently told them he was responsible for a pair of robberies at salon/spas in the Kentlands last monthO’Hair salon on Jan. 18 and Salon G on Jan. 30.

Gunn is charged with one count of armed robbery for the Night Dreams robbery. Charges in the two Kentlands cases are pending, police said, and detectives have not ruled out that Gunn might responsible for other commercial robberies.

From what I have read thus far, this individual is not (AS YET) out on bail!! But sorry to say, My Danh Tran, if you check on MC website (Court records), you will see that most are prematurely released on bond/generally the case. It is frustrating and infuriating to read! They (criminal court system) give the perp one more chance to not only rob again but one more chance to kill someone the next time. Our County Courts (and too many judges) are dysfunctional or on whacky weed! It is also frustrating to our good police force who do their jobs (the investigation & subsequent arrests) and who have to spend a great deal of their time weighted down in 'paperwork' only to have thugs they have arrested put back out on the streets. I feel for our MC policemen, all policemen/women who put their lives on the line only to have a system that basically spits in their faces with these insane releases.
