Burglars Target 6 Homes in One Night on Game Preserve Road

Police say they are looking into possible connections to Montgomery Village break-ins.

Six homes in the same block of Game Preserve Road were the targets of burglars on a single night in May, a Montgomery County police spokesperson said.

Four residential burglaries and two attempted residential burglaries occurred between midnight and 8 a.m. May 22 in the 10700 block of Game Preserve Road, in Montgomery Village, according to a recent crime summary.

Police spokesperson Angela Cruz told Patch she could not say whether the incidents are connected.

"We always look into possible connections, but the detectives don't like to reveal that information unless they have something to gain from it," Cruz said.

Police would not disclose how the burglar(s) attempted to gain entry to the homes. Three of the four burglaries had no forced entry—meaning someone could have gone in an unlocked door or window.

Forced entry was unsuccessful in both attempted burglaries.
