Temple Hills Man Charged in Germantown, White Oak Bank Robberies

Police said video surveillance linked Pierre Ramon Washington to the robberies.

Police arrested a Temple Hills man in connection with two bank robberies in Germantown and White Oak, Montgomery County police said in a news release.

Pierre Ramon Washington, 28, was charged with robbery, according to Montgomery County District Court records accessed online. He was arrested Sept. 27 in Prince George’s County, according to police.

On July 24, county police in Germantown responded to a bank robbery at the Capital One Bank at 21117 Frederick Road.  Police said the man gave the teller a note demanding money and made off with cash.

Police said the same person likely robbed a Capital One Bank in White Oak on May 22. In that case, the robber also used a note demanding cash, according to police.

Police said surveillance footage linked Washington to the robberies of Capital One banks in Germantown and White Oak.

Washington was being held on $200,000 bond, the court records show. 

Court records show additional robbery charges were filed against Washington in Anne Arundel and Prince George’s County.

A hearing was set for Oct. 25 for the Montgomery County incidents.
