WTOP: Ticket Error Blocks Vehicle Registration For Montgomery Village Woman
Ilsa Bohn tells WTOP TicketBuster that her record was flagged for a speeding ticket she already paid.
Due to an error, a Montgomery Village woman was unable to re-register her car more than a month after she paid a speeding ticket in Gaithersburg, WTOP reports.
Ilsa Bohn tells WTOP TicketBuster that she got a speed camera ticket back in April for driving 35 mph in a 25 mph zone in Gaithersburg. She took it to court, lost and paid the fines and fees back in July. WTOP posted a copy of her receipt for the ticket and court fees at its website, WTOP.com.
But when she tried to re-register her car in August, she was told she couldn’t because there was a flag on her account from the speed camera ticket in Gaithersburg, WTOP reports.
