City Looks To Fill Committee Vacancies
Gaithersburg seeks to fill a number of vacancies on City committees.
Nearly 50 percent of Gaithersburg City committees are in search of new members, according to the City website.
City committees act in an advisory role to the Mayor and City Council's strategic planning process. Here are the active vacancies:
- Animal Control Board
- Community Advisory Committee
- Cultural Arts Advisory Committee
- Commission on Landlord—Tenant Affairs (incumbent up for reappointment)
- Art in Public Place Subcommittee
- Old Towne Advisory Subcommittee
- Educational Enrichment Committee
- Multicultural Affairs Committee
- Personnel Review Board (incumbent up for reappointment)
- Police Advisory Committee
