2011 City Election Guide: including candidates, absentee ballots, voting, important dates & more
Gaithersburg residents will cast their ballots for three City Council Members on Tuesday, November 8, 2011. The Council Members each serve the community at-large for a four-year term. The terms of office for Council Members Jud Ashman, Cathy Drzyzgula and Ryan Spiegel will expire in November.
The Board of Supervisors of Elections has certified five candidates to run for three at-large City Council seats. The certified candidates for the election are Jud Ashman, Cathy C. Drzyzgula, Paula Ross, Tom Rowse, and Ryan Spiegel.

City residents who are registered to vote in Montgomery County are automatically registered to vote in City of Gaithersburg elections. The deadline to register to vote for the City elections in November is Monday, October 24, 2011. For registration information contact the Montgomery County Board of Elections at 240-777-VOTE (8683) or visit www.montgomerycountymd.gov.
