Gaithersburg Indoor Pool Closing for Annual Rehab

The cleaning will take about three weeks.

Upcounty residents who are looking for an indoor pool between August and September will have to look further south.

On Aug. 15 the will close for its annual cleaning and maintenance, and will re-open on Sept. 5.

The Germantown Indoor Aquatic Center May 8 for a $1.6 million repainting project, and won't reopen until mid-September.

The is of course open for those looking to get wet this summer.
