Montgomery County Task Force Recommends New Liquor-to-Food Ratio

This week, the Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett will review the Montgomery County Nighttime Economy Task Force's recommendations for increasing business at night. One of its recommendations is to change the 50-to-50 food to alcohol profit ratio that restaurants and bars must maintain. The Task Force is hoping the County Executive and County Council will approve a 60-to-40 ratio, which will let restaurants and bars sell more alcohol and less food.
