On The Agenda: Commission on Common Ownership Communities

The Gaithersburg mayor and City Council will meet for a work session at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall.

The Gaithersburg mayor and City Council will meet for a short work session Monday, with the lone agenda item a discussion on the Montgomery County Commission on Common Ownership Communities (CCOC).

The CCOC is a service provided by the Montgomery County Office on Common Ownership Communities that provides owners, tenants, residents, boards of directors, and management companies with information, assistance, and impartial dispute resolution programs, according to city documents.

The presentation — led by city of Gaithersburg Neighborhood Services Director Kevin Roman — is intended to provide context and background, as a reintroduction of this county program, and a discussion of alternatives, pros and cons.
