Free Medical School Recruitment Event for Students‏

The National Hispanic Medical Association (NHMA) is holding its 15th Annual Conference on March 17-20, 2011, at the Omni Shoreham Hotel, Washington, DC. 

A highlight of this conference is the Medical School Recruitment Event, to be held on Saturday, March 19th from 2:00 – 5:30 pm; a partnership between NHMA and the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC).

The fair is open to ALL college students and high school students, not just to Hispanics; from all over the country interested in a medical career. Parents are also welcome and light refreshments will be served.  Importantly, recruiters from schools and universities in the U.S. are present and available to meet and talk to all the students, and 2 workshops will be held-- one for high school students, another for college students.  Students will get to listen to presentations on preparing for medical school, receive guidance on applying and financing medical school, and meet recruiters from the medical schools across the country.
