Junior Detective Day

Young crime solvers are invited to participate in training sessions to receive a Junior Detective Badge.  Put your techniques to the test when you visit a variety of stations located on the grounds of Kentlands Mansion in Gaithersburg on Sunday, September 24, 2011 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Gaithersburg Police Officers will be on hand to help participants make I.D. badges and get fingerprinted, to learn about neighborhood safety, to witness K9 demonstrations, and to explore an actual police car and motorcycle to see all the high tech equipment police officers use.  Visit all four stations and complete the activities to earn your Junior Detective Badge.

Admission is $15 per person for children 12 and under, $20 per person for those 13 and older.  Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  A boxed lunch will be available for all participants.  Reservations are required, and may be made with cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover Card.
