Safeway - 10% Goes Back to Schools Program

* Safeway is introducing the 10% Goes Back to Schools program in January 2011.
* School bus tags will be displayed throughout the Safeway stores from January 1-25, 2011, and customers can use their Safeway Club card to buy participating items.
* When a customer purchases participating products with their club card, Safeway will donate 10% of their purchases to the local school of their choice.
* For non-eScrip families, on or after January 29, 2011, customers can go online to www.backtoschools.escrip.com<http://www.backtoschools.escrip.com>, pick their local registered school, and use their receipt tape to redeem school rewards.
* Customers can bring their receipt tapes to their local school for the school to redeem after January 29, 2011.
* The last date to redeem rewards is February 28, 2011.
* For current eScrip members, the contributions are automatic.
