Gaithersburg Students Win City Scholarships

Three students from Gaithersburg High School were named recipients of the City's W. Edward Bohrer Memorial CHARACTER COUNTS! Scholarship.

Four students, including three from , were named City's W. Edward Bohrer Memorial CHARACTER COUNTS! Scholarship winners, according to a report by The Gazette.

The Gaithersburg students receiving the award are: Kathy Gomez, Franck Noumedem and Nadia Palacios.

The scholarships are named for the City's former mayor who adopted the program in 1996. Since 1998, more than $130,000 in scholarships has been awarded to 63 high school seniors.
