On Tuesday, January 24, 2012, the Gaithersburg High School Lady Trojans used a total team effort to run past the Magruder High School Lady Colonels, 65-30. 

The Lady Trojans jumped to a 25-9 lead at the end of the first quarter and rotated the entire active roster throughout the game as they continued to build their lead. 

Seniors Colleen Marshall and Jackie Jackson led the Lady Trojans with 19 and 14 points respectively, while several up and coming players including Junior Rebekah Narum, Sophomore Victoria McClure, Junior Tristine Altamirano, and Junior Kelly Mason made significant contributions off the bench.  

The defending Maryland 4A State Champion and third-ranked Lady Trojans extended their winning streak to 39 total games, while improving to 14-0 this season.  They play their next game at Clarksburg High School at 7:00 pm on Monday, January 30, 2012.
