VIDEO: Gaithersburg High School Science Class Experiments With Harlem Shake

Students in a Gaithersburg High School environmental science class created a dance-video to Baauer's "Harlem Shake."

Chances are you've heard the first 30 seconds of Baauer’s “Harlem Shake,” even if you haven't heard the whole song. It's one of the most popular songs on iTunes this month but it's also the latest viral dance craze on YouTube.

Judging by the videos online, there are no special moves—or talent required—to make a "Harlem Shake" dance-video.

A Gaithersburg High School environmental science class made its own rendition of the popular video, posted to YouTube on Feb. 20 by user Courtney Mason, a teacher in the school's science department.
