The city of Gaithersburg released the following news this week:

Be a Kid Again With Adult Coed Kickball

The City of Gaithersburg brings the hottest team playground sport to its Fall League lineup with Adult Coed Kickball. The 10-game season starts Sept. 12, 2012, with double headers taking place at Morris Park. There is a six team limit and a $350 franchise fee. Games will be held every Wednesday for five weeks with no practices. Registration is ongoing.

The Fall 2012 Leisure Times, Gaithersburg’s comprehensive guide to recreation programs and services, is now available at City facilities.  It is also mailed to most households within Gaithersburg City limits, and can be viewed online at www.gaithersburgmd.gov/classes. Class registration is now open.

The fall session introduces a variety of new classes and programs for the whole family.

Arts classes and workshops for children and adults, including painting, drawing, musical theater, sewing, and stained glass, are offered at the Arts Barn, Gaithersburg’s premiere cultural arts facility. Registration for these classes is ongoing and takes place year ‘round.
