Here's a sentence that might never be written again: "The undefeated Orioles face the winless Yankees."
Oh sure, it's only three games into the season, and the O's have 159 more chances to make 2012 another dismal season. But knowing that New York could sweep and only be even with the Orioles can bring joy to the most jaded Baltimore fan's heart.
And according to 15-year-old baseball blogger , the 2012 baseball campaign already has a historic start: "For only the second time in the history of baseball, both the Red Sox and the Yankees have started off the season 0-3. The only other time this happened? 1966. Both teams went on to post losing records that year. But, the last time just the Yankees were 0-3 in a season, 1998, New York ended up with the World Series Championship."
Any Oriole fan would rather remember 1966 than 1998.
