Quince Orchard Prospect Picks Up BCS Conference Scholarship Offer

Elliot Davis receives an offer from an Atlantic Coast Conference power.

A Quince Orchard football player with high hopes of continuing his career at the Division I level picked up his first major scholarship offer.

Elliot Davis—a class of 2014 wide receiver/cornerback prospect—received an offer from the Atlantic Coast Conference's Clemson University, he tweeted.

Cougars coach Dave Mencarini also took to Twitter to issue his congratulations:

Mencarini also tweeted that junior prospect Malcolm Brown had been offered a scholarship by Colgate University the same day.

"Big day for our program," the tweet read.

According to Rivals.com, Davis has received interest from a total of 11 schools, including Clemson. Other notable schools with interest in the Quince Orchard prospect include Maryland, Miami (FL), Oklahoma State, Penn State, Virginia, and Virginia Tech.
