Gaithersburg's 75th annual Labor Day parade will honor the 50th anniversary of the Gaithersburg Police Department. Julie Wright, traffic reporter for WTOP News Radio and member of the Fox 5 Morning News Team, is this year's MC.

Where: Olde Town Gaithersburg. Parade starts on East Diamond Avenue, between Summit Avenue and Girard Street, and continues north on Russell Avenue.

Parking

  • Free parking will be available in the Olde Towne garage, at Olde Towne and Summit Avenues. 
  • Handicap parking will be located behind the Victor Litz store on the north side of Diamond Avenue, and behind the Shell station on Summit Avenue. 
  • A shuttle bus will also be available from the Lakeforest Shopping Center transit station to Gaithersburg Elementary School beginning at noon.
