Habitat for Humanity has helped build, rehabilitate and weatherize 93 homes in Montgomery County.

History: According to its website, "Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County (HFH-MC) was established as a private, ecumenical Christian, nonprofit organization in 1982 by a small group of dedicated volunteers looking to create home ownership opportunities for families with limited income." To date, the organization has built, rehabilitated or weatherized 93 homes in our area.
