On the agenda | Work session: Wells/Robertson House
The Gaithersburg City Council will hear a presentation on the Wells/Robertson House, which for 25 years has served homeless people with drug and alcohol addictions. The agenda is posted at the city website, GaithersburgMD.gov

Back to school | Today is the first day of school for Montgomery County public schools
Bye-bye summer break. According to MCPS, more than 150,000 students are expected to attend class on the first day of school, which is today, Monday, Aug. 26. Students at Gaithersburg High School will notice upgrades—millions of dollars worth of upgrades. The original building dates back to the 1950s.
