I love going to Dogfish because each experience puts me in contact with people who really understand beer and are willing to take the time to share what they know and to help customers make great choices. I've thoroughly enjoyed everything from the kitchen and the bar, although the pizzas and 90-minute IPA are my favorites. :)

Great food, fantastic beer, great service and atmosphere. I've never had a bad moment here, and have lost count of the times I've been there,both at the bar and in the restaurant area. As much as I also love Growlers, Dogfish takes to top prize. (and I'm a 10 minute walk from either)
We are so fortunate to have a DFH Alehouse in our neck of the woods. Try the 90-minute IPA on tap - you won't be disappointed.
Live music on weekends rocks.
Southwestern egg rolls, fish-n-chips, and their salads are my faves. Burgers are tasty, too.

Clearly the best beer in Gaithersburg and all of the East Coast. They know about the craft of brewing beer as well as beer culture. They only turn out a quality product. I don't think people realize how fortunate we are that DFH chose Gaithersburg for their location. Not Virginia. Not DC. Not Baltimore. But here. The service is great and their knowledgeable staff can match a beer to your tastes. Quality place all around.
