Stephanie has been a great vocal coach for my 10 year old daughter. She is always encouraging her to try new things and gives very positive feedback. My daughter really enjoys her lessons.
We feel very lucky to have found Stephanie. My daughter wishes she could have lessons everyday. My daughter's singing has improved so much that she even got a part in her spring HS musical!
Stephanie has always been so patient with my 15 year old daughter.. She encourages her about how nice her voice sounds and that has given my daughter greater confidence when she is sings in front of an audience. I have loved working with Stephanie! I am an adult singer who has been performing since childhood, but without consistent vocal coaching. Stephanie has helped me become more aware of my instrument and technique. With her help, I am breaking unhealthy vocal habits and have noticed a huge increase in my vocal strength and stamina. I can't recommend her enough to adults looking for challenging, yet supportive, vocal instruction.
Jenni has been a wonderful instructor for my sensitive 8 year old. We have tried lots of different music lessons but my daughter doesn't do well in a group and loses interest quickly so that every lesson became a fight. Jenni has changed all of that! She offers private lessons that are fun and 100% positive. My daughter always leaves with a big smile saying "great lesson" which is wonderful. Jenni has steered her toward music that suits her personality and is age appropriate so I actually enjoy listening to her practice. My daughter now practices regularly without being reminded, has improved noticeably, and has renewed her interest in music. What more can a mother ask?
I really love working with Jenni. She very easy to talk to and to sing in front of. She is very knowledgeable in vocal techniques and very interested in helping her students to reach their maximum potential without being intimidating or pushy. She is a joy to have for a teacher!
Jenni McGinnis is a superb instructor! She is inspiring and fun to work with and has helped strengthen my voice while teaching me various vocal techniques. My 13 yo daughter has been taking voice lessons with Kathleen for 8 months now and just had her 1st recital with DVA. My daughter (and I) LOVE Kathleen! My daughter had been with another instructor (not from DVA) and it was not a good fit. Kathleen's expertise in musical theater is a perfect match for my daughter. She has been so wonderful to work with and doesn't hesitate to help her get closer to reaching her goal of becoming a performer in theater.
