I went to Gerstel looking for some used office furniture for a home office. After looking around the store we agreed on a particular type of L-shaped desk. He mentioned that the one he would ship would not be the one on the show room floor but that it would be identical in wear and accessories. I was originally pleased with the purchase, several weeks went by and there were always excuses as to why the furniture could not be shipped, then 10 weeks later they finally delivered the furniture, the delivery doesn't cover putting together the furniture but luckily I got the delivery guys to help layout the furniture to ensure we had all of the pieces. Both the delivery guys and I could tell that what was delivered was not meant to go together as the metal screws did not line up to the holes on the underside of the desk. I called the store manager who said thats just they way it is and if I didn't like it then he would take it back and refund my money but that I would have to pay for shipping an incomplete product. And to top it all off, I have yet to be refunded!!! This outfit blows and I would recommend you stay away, the purchase was made out of the Gaithersburg store.
