The Golden Bull is FAR from Golden!
It doesn’t even come close.
Brides, Reunion Organizers, and anyone else planning an event-beware of booking the Golden Bull for your soiree.
Sure, the space might work and the price may beat any hotel, but, the service and promises they make are very disingenuous. Do not be fooled into thinking this property can work for your event.
The Golden Bull Will Hurt You and Your Event.
Honorable ways of doing business aside, they will cancel your event less than 60 days out from show time with no explanation or compensation.
We were planning the 35th Reunion for a local High School Class and out of nowhere The Golden Bull cancelled our event with no explanation as to why they were cancelling it. Furthermore, how do they justify keeping a sizeable deposit for an event they cancelled and a contract agreement they violated?
The Golden Bull called us, allegedly to return the deposit (which was how we were notified of the cancellation), and in the end, they Never Returned the Deposit.
Folks should consider ordering dinner and not paying for it when the bill arrives. Then use their excuse, whatever it might be.
Breach of Contract is the Way The Golden Bull Does Business.
They do not care about providing you with a Plan B and they certainly do not care about your event and all of your invited guests.
