Wolverine Pride is on full display whenever Watkins Mill High School's nearly 1,600 students fill the halls, flock to sporting events or compete in the school's many academic teams. Though just outside Montgomery Village's borders, roughly three-quarters of the students are from the Village—the rest live in Gaithersburg and Germantown. Montgomery Village Middle School and Neelsville Middle School in Germantown feed into WMHS, while the cluster's elementary schools are South Lake, Stedwick, Watkins Mill and Whetstone.

WMHS is the best kept secret in MCPS. The diverse population at "The Mill" is the greatest asset and what graduates remember with pride. From the IB program to the Academy of Finance to Medical Careers, WMHS prepares its graduates for college and careers. All students have the opportunity to participate in any sport, club, or social organization. It is truly "All at the Mill"!
