Report: Montgomery Village Teen To Serve 18 Months For Pizza Delivery Robberies

A Montgomery Village teen and former Watkins Mill High School football player will serve 18 months in jail for a series of robberies committed on pizza delivery drivers last summer, The Gazette reported. Marcus Addison, 18, was sentenced to 50 years, with all but the 18 months suspended, according to the report. Montgomery County Circuit Court Judge Richard Jordan told Addison the suspended 48 years would "ruin your life if you find yourself in this situation again,” according to the report. Addison, of the 19000 block of Mills Choice Road, robbed six delivery drivers for a total of $540 from Gaithersburg-area Domino's Pizza and Papa John's Pizza restuarants at gunpoint. Police later determined the gun used by Addison was a pellet gun. …

Gaithersburg Police Looking For Armed Robbery Suspect

Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance to identify a possible suspect in an armed robbery incident that occurred at the bus stop located on South Frederick Avenue and South Summit Avenue on Jan. 13.

Gaithersburg police are hoping the public can help identify a possible suspect in an armed robbery incident that occurred at the bus stop located on South Frederick Avenue and South Summit Avenue on Jan. 13. On Jan. 13 at approximately 9:51 p.m., an unknown male approached the victim at the bus stop and began engaging her in conversation, police said. During the conversation, the unknown male brandished a knife and took the victim’s purse, fleeing on foot.  The suspect has been described by police as a Hispanic male, 25-30 years old, 5 feet 10 inches, with a goatee or a beard. Police Investigate Armed Robbery At Gaithersburg Pizza Hut

Officers were dispatched to the Pizza Hut at 299 Muddy Branch Road at 1:43 p.m. for reports of an armed robbery, Gaithersburg police said.

Gaithersburg police are investigating an armed robbery at the Pizza Hut restaurant at 299 Muddy Branch Road, Gaithersburg police officer Dan Lane said. Officers were dispatched to the Festival Shopping Center restaurant at 1:43 p.m., Lane said. No further information was available, Lane said.

A man robbed the Food Express convenience store early Tuesday, police said.

  Surveillance photos show a man Montgomery County police said is wanted for an armed robbery of a Rockville convenience store Tuesday. The man entered the Food Express convenience store at 16254 Frederick Road in Rockville at 1:14 a.m., approached the clerk and announced a robbery while displaying a black semi-automatic handgun, police said in a news release. The clerk complied with the suspect’s demand, giving him cash from the register, police said. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. Montgomery County police have arrested a suspect in connection with five armed robberies of Subway restaurants that have occurred in the Gaithersburg and Germantown areas since November. Police said Timothy Luke Howell, 24, of no fixed address, is charged with the following armed robberies : Police said investigators believed all the robberies were committed by the same suspect. "In all of these robberies the suspect entered a Subway restaurant in Germantown or Gaithersburg, displayed a handgun, and demanded cash from the register," police said in a statement. Police Seek Public's Help Identifying Gaithersburg CVS Robbery Suspect

Montgomery County police released a photo Thursday afternoon of the suspect in a CVS armed robbery, with hopes that the public can help identify him. The CVS located at 546 N. Frederick Avenue was robbed on Nov. 27, at approximately 8:08 p.m., police said. Investigation revealed that the suspect entered the CVS store and approached the pharmacy counter, police said. The suspect handed a note to the pharmacist demanding Oxycodone pills. When the pharmacist hesitated in getting the pills, the suspect fled from the store without obtaining any property.
