It's official, Patch readers love Neal Bagels. The local eatery at the intersection of Quince Orchard and Darnestown Road won our first Best Of contest, which began on Monday and ended today at 9am. Neal's Bagels has been turning out fresh made bagels for over 10 years. Neal and his wife are often behind the counter serving their customers. If you're there early the bagels are often still warm. Watch the back kitchen and throughout the day you can see dough being rolled by hand and dropped into vats of boiling water before they're baked.   more ›

I am so sorry for this family. I know Nicole from the gym. She was talking about riding bikes. She menitoned that she was using "Map my Run" to help find a safe bike route. She said her parents had said never to cross 124 or other busy roads. She even had told me that the other girl had selected that route once before.
