Anticipation grew for revitalization of Lakeforest Mall when it was purchased in early September of last year, and within the last week, the mall has sought input from its shoppers on future retailers. On Thursday, Jan. 24, Lakeforest Mall asked its approximately 5,600 Facebook followers a simple question: "What new stores would YOU like to see at Lakeforest?" The thread had received more than 80 comments as of Monday morning, with many shared opinions for the mall's future. Lakeforest Mall planned to remove the thread from its Facebook page Tuesday morning.
