Gaithersburg Patch takes you around the city's Art in Public Places exhibits.
This set of three statues, called "Euphony," sits outside Gaithersburg's City Hall and Concert Pavilion. Created by artist William Francis Duffy, the bronze statues were installed in 2001, according to the city. According to Duffy: "The sculpture, 'Euphony,' is one that I have designed for the public grounds in [front of] the Concert Pavilion in historic downtown Gaithersburg. The bell was donated to the city when the owners of the church building at the time were afraid that the rotted condition of the belfry might allow the bell to drop, causing damage or injury.
