On The Agenda: Committee Briefings

The Gaithersburg mayor and City Council will hear annual briefings from four city committees at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall.

Annual committee briefings continue Monday evening, with the Gaithersburg mayor and City Council set to hear from four additional groups. The Gaithersburg mayor and City Council announced Thursday morning the appointment of Deputy City Manager Tony Tomasello as City Manager, according to a news release. The city will announce finalists for the position this Friday, then introduce them to city staff on Nov. 16, and invite the public for a "Meet and Greet" Saturday, Nov. 17, before making a final decision, according to a news release.
