Montgomery County police released a crime summary for June 25 through July 3. The following incidents were reported in Gaithersburg: An armed robbery occurred behind Gaithersburg Elementary School, located at 35 North Summit Avenue, on Sunday, July 1 between 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. The suspects threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property. An armed robbery occurred at McDonalds, located at 18273 Flower Hill Way on Saturday, June 30, just before 7 p.m. A strong-arm robbery occurred in the 18700 block of Blue Violet Lane on Tuesday, June 26 around 5:30 p.m. An aggravated assault occurred in the 8800 block of Cross Country Place on Monday, July 2.
